The month of May flew away working hard at the spring/summer 2022 production, and above all at the new SS23 sampling collections. A tour de force that saw us engaged in many meetings with designers, pattern makers and customers. But not only that, in the last days of May Forum Groupe’s staff have also been busy in successfully passing the six-monthly audit of RINA for SA8000 certification, a globally recognised standard to ensure optimal working conditions, to reward commitment to sustainable development and to keep the attention on social issues high.
We are slowly coming back to normality, if you want to call it that way. But we cannot forget these last years of pandemic, the war in Ukraine and the critical situations that many countries are going through. We are living a period full of contradictions. As a matter of fact we are following schedules calibrated on obsolete logics while the context is changing strongly and quickly. We hope that even large commercial companies will have the strength and foresight to understand these changes and to renew themselves, thus looking at the production chain with a new look and giving more attention to the chain of values. We are trying to go into this direction!
