On 14th July, Forum Groupe is organising a company lunch to celebrate 25 years of presence in Beni Hassen. The purpose of the lunch is to celebrate together with employees, both permanent and seasonal employees, but also with those who have already retired during these years of long collaboration.
A ‘quarter of a century’, a generation, a long history during which the company has changed profoundly: from the first CMT laboratory opened in 1998, we moved on to the cutting room and the pattern-making department, to the management of the finished product in order to provide customers with a more complete service, and then in recent years we arrived to the creation of the bonding division (thermo-welding). We serve customers across all continents, even as far as Australia, but the heart of our relationship is in Europe, both for the sourcing of raw materials and for the sale of the finished product to our customers.
25 years that have seen major political and social changes in Tunisia, first and foremost the beginning of the ‘Arab Spring’. Together with our employees and collaborators, we have overcome the moments of greatest tension, working as a team with the representative offices in Italy and the production facilities in Tunisia. Now we are ready for the new challenges that the market demands, the SA8000 social certification is no longer alone, but has been joined by GRS precisely to follow the requests of our customers. We are investing more and more in training, along with computerisation and automation-related processes.
This 2023 will leave its mark on the future of Forum Groupe, but the year is only halfway through and we cannot reveal everything. For now, let us enjoy this moment of celebration for our large Italo-Tunisian family!
